Miss Connie

I have been working with children in a learning environment for more than 23 years now. I have worked with Foothills Preschool since 2007. I love what I do.

Teaching young children and getting them prepared for big school "kindergarten" is amazing. There are definitely other fields of work that I could go into however; none of them could possibly be as rewarding.

Miss Michelle

I have worked for the Blount County School system and my heart is tied to the education of children. I thrive on building relationships with students and being part of their growth.

I have a daughter of my own with special needs. To see her grow beyond Professional expectation is my greatest joy.

I have an Associates in Science and have been with Foothills Preschool since 2021.

I am a caregiver and teacher by nature and I love that I get to be such an important part of kids' lives.

Ms. Holly

I have been involved in childcare for over 21 years. For 16 of those years, I have worked for Foothills. I have been fortunate enough to work with all age groups and found that I love them all. I currently work with our toddler group and serve as Assistant Director.

I love watching them grow and change and how the little things affect them the most. Their smiles, laughter, and hugs always make my day. I am so blessed to have found my calling and even more so because I have found Foothills. The blessings continue with now having my own Grandaughter enrolled at our center.

Ms. Emily

I have always had an affection for teaching. The most common question I recieve is "Why do you want to be a teacher?". It is so much more than the simple reply of "I love kids". As true as this is, the greatest joy comes from seeing a child that is hungry for knowledge excel.

Every child can learn and they are usually very willing participants in the process.

I love being a part of a child doing something for the first time. From first steps to writing. Knowing that I am helping a child grow and giving them every opportunity to some day rule the world, has been my most rewarding job yet.

I once was a student here at Foothills Preschool and now I get to be part of all the great memories these students will carry with them through their lives.

Ms. Missy

I have two teenage girls of my own. I am currently seaking my CDA and hope to one day reach a Bachelors degree in early childchood education.

I enjoy every aspect of teaching and have realized that children can teach us as much as we can teach them. That would be my favorite thing about teaching. I am so glad that I have found my place at Foothills. I have the chance to be a part of a great team that are passionate about the education and developement of young children.

Ms. Mara

I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl. With a lot of hard work and dedication I reached my 1st big goal by recieving my associates degree in Early childhood Education. I absolutley love working with children. Having the chance to see them learn and grow is an amazing experience. I feel so blessed to have found a career where I look forward to going to work. I feel blessed to have the chance to help mold our future.
