A Brief History

Foothills Childcare and Pre-School began in 1988 as a small in-home sitting service. The inspiration for the company came from the difficulty in finding quality care for Charles and JoAnne’s daughter, Jamie Pask. The need for quality care encouraged their small sitting service to grow. Allen Swank, JoAnne and Charles’ son, joined the team and helped bring their vision out of their home and become available to the whole community.

With a growing number of childcare needs and requests, they decided to open a small childcare facility. Even though change and growth continue, there is one thing that always stays the same: quality care in a nurturing, friendly, and safe environment!

Our Mission Statement

We believe that children who are given guidance in a caring and positive way from the start, will have the attitudes and abilities they need to cope as they continue to grow. Your peace of mind and your child's well-being is our biggest concern. We strive to provide the best when it comes to preschool education, and we do this in a loving, stimulating, and healthy environment.

We have an "open door" policy for all families. You are welcome to stop by or call any day and time all year round. We hope to form a long-term relationship with you and your child, as we help to give your child the best start possible.

 If you are interested in enrolling your child in our facility, give us a call today. We require your child to be 6 weeks old for them to enter our program. We would love to have the chance to give you a tour of our facility.

We are committed to providing your child with the best possible care while promoting learning and creativity. We encourage every child to grow and develop, and we work hard to provide the right environment for that.
